2017 – What a Year!

It’s almost time to farewell 2017 and what a year it’s been at CERI! Culminating in the excitement and fanfare of the Acting Prime Minster, the Hon Julie Bishop MP, officially opening CERI and making the announcement we’d been granted tax deductible charitable status.

On a national scale, as the lead consortium member of Accelerating Australia,  CERI was integral to the training program receiving $1,000,000  in funding through the Federal Government’s MTPConnect Growth Centre.  The program, based at CERI, is aimed at creating a culture of entrepreneurship and collaboration across medical technologies and pharmaceuticals.

We have also rolled out our core program of entrepreneurial modules, having completed ten boot camps with over 160 participants and graduating our first cohort of Concept to Creation CERIans. CERI is now home to six start-ups and an extended network of mentors and business leaders.

So many of these initiatives have been a success thanks to you…our CERI community.

Together we have embraced an entrepreneurial mindset to create a sustainable and resilient economic ecosystem in Western Australia. Thank you for joining us and helping take us from a start-up ourselves, to a Centre which is attracting national and international attention.

In 2018 we look forward to continuing to work with you to create a vibrant economic future in Western Australia, based on sustainable high-knowledge, high-value and high-growth industries.

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a safe & entrepreneurial New Year!
From all of us here at CERI.
